The feeling of accomplishing something that seemed previously impossible is something to savor. No,it's not about the camp (though i would have loved to use that phrase for it).The phrase is just merely the tip of the iceberg to dub the things that occurred over the last few days,it's like i'm telling a story where dreams and the impossible come true.Rewind time back to a month ago where i jokingly proposed that we had a reunion for my primary class 5/6i before school starts, never in my wildest dream have i imagined it would turn out to become a reality.Yes,it actually happened, and it happened yesterday...After all the reunion i was unable to attend and after all the reunion i had miss, the streak finally ended yesterday. In what seemed like a blink of an eye,it took me four years to end that no-show streak, and what better way to end it than to be the co-host of the reunion...
The reunion was also planned accordingly to Nic Ooi's birthday. It "supposedly" began at 5.30pm where they gathered at Cineleisure damansara for the 6.15 show of Sherlock Holmes. The supposedly word was deliberately fitted in because i didn't really know what happened about three quarters of the reunion cos' i had to miss it due to camp.I went into panic mode just before the crucial last two matches that would conclude the camp when i saw 3 miss calls and SMSes on my phone. But it would later turned out to be a false alarm. If there's one thing i learned about being a co-host,it's that it's all about being Calm....Reached home after the camp, took a much needed bath and was on my way to Curve.Since they were still watching the show when i was there,i decided to dropped by the most unexpected place of all, albeit it's the last place you'll find me in....i was at,drumrolls*...........BORDERS!! Well, its not That hard to guess but it Was near The Street and most importantly there were chairs in it to sit and/or sleep on.Took an Archie's comic and stared reading. The chair must've been really comfortable or the book was really very boring cos' i nearly dozed off...lucky for them, there was the phone call...Proceeded to Italianese and yeah, the first thing i ordered was an Espresso....and it came in DROPS.The cup was sooo bloody small and it cost me 5.80.Lucky for us,Callie decided to order big portions and share. It wasn't too heavy on the stomach, but was certainly light on the wallet. It was weird that night, cos' though i was really tired,i still managed to cough up more saliva than that cup of Espresso i had.I was like the P R or somethin that night.Everyone seemed to have grown matured and a little taller thus leaving me behind in the so called Great Age of Growing.Everything turn out to be as planned Excluding the cake part.It took them YEARS to take the cake out of the fridge and serve it up,so a little push was required.Nic went and asked for the "bill" and after 10 minutes, the cake was still no where to be found. Then it was my turn to ask for the "bill".When i was there, they were so called "repairing" the cake and said the cake was ready in 3 minutes.I asked for the Birthday song to be played but sadly the worker in charge had already left...So the cake finally arrived and we eventually sang.Nic Ooi then made her wish and blew the eight (why eight?) candles out. Each of us took one slice, cos' one slice was more than enough. So there goes my 37 bucks......Before the Real bill arrived,we all took turns guessing how much it would be and yeah,no surprises Leslie came closest to it.The bill was around 200,i sarcastically said 300 so that the real amount wouldn't be that hard to swallow. So yeah, was happy enough to shell out 25 bucks for it....After the dinner,Leslie and Jack walk they're separate ways while the rest of us walked to Ikea where the birthday girl's brother would fetch all the goats back to their stables. And there's also where everyone finally parted ways that night....

The reunion Can be counted as a success.Fyi my way of defining success is being better than the worst case scenario. This reunion wouldn't be a reunion if it weren't for all the people who attended it.Though most of them won't ever-never get the chance to see this post,Here's me giving my sincerest thanks to Thomas,Eugene,Jack,Callie, the 2 Nicole's and Leslie for attending the Reunion.Special thanks goes to _ _ _ _ _ _ ,you know who you are (just realised besides Jack, all of the other names have six letters).Anyways, thank you for baby sitting them for most of the time,And for the cake,And for the bookings,And for the show,And for the Ball (Inhale*).And even though it might sound corny, this Reunion wouldn't even be a reality if it weren't for you. Can't believe i just wrote that so yeah, cherish it.I wouldn't have planned it any other better way.....
